Can't seem to find myself now at work.
Situation is like this...
Now the PA position here is empty and since i have a chance to upgrade then i tried. After consulting my senior about it, i decided to give it a try.
Asked boss in the morning and told him what i felt. He said he was also thinking about it. Then i told him to give me till next year then to confirm me. He was like okay about it.
At 10am he had an interview with a candidate and he took a long time. He came out halfway of the interview and talked to the corporate controller, then he went back into the interview. After when he came out he asked me to go to his room to chat. Then he told me that he is employing the lady cause she has experience and is more senior than me. I was like.. wad the hell... u told me that you will regect the candidate. Hai... Had the feeling that my leg was being pulled. After which he told me that when talking to the corporate controller, they came up with a 'solution'. I would try to assist the accountants and may increase my pay. When i told my senior about it, she told he that he only likes to talk no action. I'm still pondering whether to wait on and see how it goes or just treat this job as a stepping stone in my career. To learn the basics, try out for 1 year or so then see how it goes.
I have no aim now. Adminstration work is just so simple to get use to it. All the while i want to find a company that has a propect in advancement and good welfare. But it seems like, both are not implied into this company. I like the environment and the people here. But staying with the pay i have now is not going to substain me.
Talked to people about it, they all said i should just work and see how things go and gain experience.

Just had a chat with my corporate controller. Asked him wat were the stuff that he wanted me to learn. He is very motivative and i feel comfortable with learning accounts stuff. There's another door opened to me and he told me to grab the oportunity and learn. He even told me about his life story about his wife nagging that he always reach home so late last time cause he had to stay back. But after a few years he got the result that he wantd and he achieved it. You wouldn't noe what you want until you try it out.
So i'm going to take is advise and try it out. Who noes what is installed for me. Take a step at a time....
